The two cakes
Carter had two cakes. The firetruck cake was my first attempt. My sister Heather is quite the baker and sent me the pan and decorating tools to make the cake. I kind of gave up after 3 hours of decorating. Plus Carter needed a Curious George cake anyway, so he also got a chocolate cake. He liked both of them. Thank you Heather for sending the supplies.
More Birthday
Some games we played for Carter's birthday included, 3-D chalk, bowling, jumping on the trampoline and the Pinata. Check out our pinata. Yes, it is homemade. Chuck spent many days making it and has stated next year we will buy one, but it is very cute and Carter loved it. However, the candy he chose to put in it wasn't a hit with the kids. Overall I think everyone had fun.
Carter's 3rd Birthday Party
Carter turned three this weekend and so we had a birthday party for him. Our theme was Curious George. Carter was so much fun to watch open presents and he loved that all his friends came over to celebrate with him. Here are some pictures of the festivities. The videos are also great.
