Just a rant....sort of

So this picture of Carter is how I feel about our house selling process. So far we are failures at real estate selling. I guess it is good we neither one of us decided to do this for a career. I fired our realtor this weekend, interviewed 2 yesterday, don't trust any of them, think they are all full of ***kjkh (well you guessed it) Signed a new contract today for 3 months. So I guess we will see what happens. Still hoping for a miracle....So if any of you have any extra you want to send our way I am open to them.

Sorry about my rant, but I guess it is my turn to rant on the blog. In other news it is 80 degrees here and very pretty. Carter is growing and getting so big and tall. We think he now weighs between 32 and 35 pounds which is amazing considering he has kind of been on a hunger strike except for a few select things for a couple weeks now. He loves our new yard and would spend all day driving his fire truck (yes, Karen it is the one you gave him for christmas one year) around the house from the back door to the front door, ring the doorbell and drive through the house. It is pretty cute. We also found an awesome deal on a riding lawn mower. So hopefully the man of the house will get really good at driving it so the yard will look nice this summer. He tried to teach me how to use it this weekend, but Carter wouldn't let me sit on it. Apparently he thinks it is his new toy along with everything else. "Mine" is definately his favorite word right now.

Now that he's learning how to talk .....

We have to be really careful about what we say:

Dad: "Carter, are you wearing my shoes?"
Carter: "Look dear, so cute!"

or

Dad: "What does a pig say?"
Carter: "Oink"
Dad: "What does a chicken say?"
Carter: "Balk-balk"
Dad: What does a frog say?"
Carter: "Ribbit"
Dad: "What does a Momma say?"
Carter: "Chu-uck!!"

or

Mom: "Carter, don't you want to go poo-poo in the potty?
Carter: "No"
Mom: "But Dada does"
Carter: "No, Dada goes poo-poo in his pants"

Oh the Trampoline

So we have been talking about getting a trampoline for Carter since we went to visit his Cousin's in Texas and they had a trampoline. So when we were in Oklahoma City for the temple this weekend while I was in a session Chuck and Carter found a trampoline. Here are some pictures to document the building of it and how much Carter already likes it. Too bad it is raining here today and we probably won't go play on it.
