Our Happy Thanksgiving.

When starting to post this I realized we didn't get any pictures of our dinner after all the cooking, before the eating. Anyway, for Thanksgiving this year Chuck and I invited a couple law students and their families over for dinner. It was a lot of fun. I made homemade rolls for the first time with the help of a recipe blog. Chuck skinned our Turkey and we decided we love the turkey bags you can buy to cook the turkey in. Our turkey was perfect. We also enjoyed some great mashed potatoes, gravey, all the usually food. Nothing too gourment here at the Sullivan house. Carter got to sit by himself with the kids and didn't eat a thing. He threw his turkey, and his roll. He stole all the little girls cups and napkins and made Riley, the 3 year old cry. He was quite the thanksgiving villian.

Our turkey right before the oven.
My homemade rolls, rising under a grocery bag...seriously that is how the recipe said to do it. What a great way to recycle, right.

And so the feast begins.

Carter decided it was ok to go and lay on Clarissa when she was laying on the floor. Then he proceed to try and kiss her. Hum...I wonder where he learned that. It was pretty funny.

In the end Carter really enjoyed the chocolate pie. So I guess that is all that really mattered. The dessert was worth all the work.

We hope your Thanksgiving was just as eventful!

Happy Birthday Chuck

Well I am finally getting around to posting this. Chuck's 29th birthday for the 4th time was last Saturday. So happy birthday to you Chuck. We love you!

Retirement of the highchair...

Carter has decided he is too old and too big for a highchair. So we welcomed a booster seat at the table instead. So far it's been a great addition. Carter has even decided that eating again might be a good idea.

More Carter Videos

We don't know where he learned this, and we haven't been able to curb it quite yet, but in the meantime, it's so dang cute when he throws a tantrum, we just film it.

Here he is trying out his winter gear:
