Carter made it! He sat in his car seat with only a few crying moments the entire way. We drove 10 hours the first day and stayed in Burlington, CO. Then we woke up at 4 am and began the 7 hour trip back to Tulsa. Chuck was the driver the entire time. Mostly because once we fit his huge cooler behind my chair, he wouldn't be able to sit comforably in the passenger seat. Carter was a great traveler. I don't think we will be driving anywhere for a while. You know your child has had enough when he starts arching his back to get out of this carseat before you can buckle the seatbelt.

You're brave. That's a long trip with a little one. Glad you had a great time!
Thanks so much for the great post; I loved seeing the pictures of you guys, especially Carter Bruce (why does everyone get his name wrong?)
And thanks for making the effort to come to Utah. I'll be there in Tulsa in May.

Whew! That is a long ride. My kids have done the same thing with arching their backs. I hope that Dallas isn't too far of a drive for you guys. Thanks for all the wonderful pictures to look at. Your boys are quite cute.
