The Long drive home, at least 17 hours....and 27 minutes

Carter made it! He sat in his car seat with only a few crying moments the entire way. We drove 10 hours the first day and stayed in Burlington, CO. Then we woke up at 4 am and began the 7 hour trip back to Tulsa. Chuck was the driver the entire time. Mostly because once we fit his huge cooler behind my chair, he wouldn't be able to sit comforably in the passenger seat. Carter was a great traveler. I don't think we will be driving anywhere for a while. You know your child has had enough when he starts arching his back to get out of this carseat before you can buckle the seatbelt.

Meeting Cousin Marytheresa

Carter finally got to meet my cousin MaryTheresa. My cousin is awesome! She is very funny and extremely intelligent. Carter loved touching her hair. I think he was amaze that it looked like his. It was a great day. We love you Mary.

Sullivan Family reunion-Day 3

Day three started with french toast for breakfast, making and launching rockets made out of 2 liter plastic bottles, poker playing and pizza lunch. It was fun to see Chuck's brother Dave and his family, Erick and his family, Grandma Tiede, Aunt Patsy and Chuck's parents. The mountains are beautiful and we already miss them.

Talent night at the Sullivan Family Reunion 8-10-08

The second day of the Sullivan family reunion was spent first at Dave's ward in Heber and then up at the Down's cabin near Kamas, UT. It was quite the place. The day was complete with sing alongs with Bubba, the talent show and smores by the fire.

Carter and Rufuss

Carter is just getting to know dogs. Rufuss is my parent's dog. Chuck wasn't around for this and wasn't too excited about Carter getting to know Rufuss.

Seven Peaks 8-9-08

Saturday we spent the day at Seven Peaks with Chuck's family. It was very fun. Carter really enjoyed the mushroom waterfall, the slides, and playing with his cousins.

Dueling cousins

Carter's first piano duet with his cousin Isabella.
