Flood

Yes, the cold Oklahoma winter brought a great flood into our house.

The Disney Half-Marathon

Every good runner begins with a good breakfast (yes, Chuck is indeed eating breakfast, shocking I know). Next you have to put on your shoe tag and number. Next you run the race, but your wife is so shocked that you are still running and alive at mile 8 she is unable to get the camera out quick enough to take a picture. You end up at the finish line, get your Donald Duck medal, and find your Florida boyfriend and your son. Then, eventually your wife that got up with you at 330 am will find you. Congratulations to Chuck for running his first 1/2 marathon.

We took a vacation to central Florida a couple of weeks ago. Kristin has tasked me with blogging the event. But I'm not very good at it, so I've posted a whole bunch of pictures of some of the fun things we did while we were there. Carter had a fantastic time. It was lots of fun.

Cool way to help with an adoption

I found this story on an adoption blog that I sometimes read. This is an amazing family and an amazing story. Please take some time to read it and maybe help with their adoption. Adoption is an amazing thing, we are grateful for the adoption miracle in our life and hope to have another one in this next year. Please check out this link and if you feel so incline donate.

Blog update-Aug, Sept, Oct

Ok, So I haven't been very good at our blog this year so I thought I would make a slideshow to show how the months of September, October, November and December went for us this year. My sister Shannon came to visit us in September with her 2 cute kids. It has been quite the year. In October we started my Travel assignment to Texas and have been staying with my sister in law and brother in law every 6 days or so. We are so grateful to them. We spent thanksgiving in Texas and of course went Black friday shopping the day after. This Christmas holiday we are grateful for our savior, our families and our blessings.
